The stem and lake are hand painted on these 19 oz stemmed wine glasses.
Painting the etched surface provides a superior bond for the paint to adhere to the glass. Each glass is top rack dishwasher safe!
Choose your color and if you'd like you lake name or not. Please not that the lake name will be only etched. We're not offering to paint the lake name at this time.
About the process:
Each glass is first laser etched into the goblet.
After applying a mask, I paint each glass with a high quality paint. This process is done with an airbrush and special paint blend. Next the stem gets a matching color.
After allowing to dry for 24 hours, each glass is cleaned and baked to fuse the bond to the glass stronger than before. This last step makes the glass top rack dishwasher safe!
